         Surface finish is a process for forming a protect layer on the surface of the finished PCB, The purpose of surface finish is to meet or improve the solderability, electrical performance, corrosion resistance and wear resistance of PCB. circuit boards. It consists of an electroless 

nickel plating covered with a thin layer of 

immersion gold, which protects the nickel 

from oxidation.

will be cleared

Gold

It is a type of surface plating used for printed 

circuit boards. Form a thin layer of nickel is 

plated on the copper foil via chemical 

electrolysis, and a layer of gold is electroplated 

on the basis of nickel. The chemically 

electrolyzed nickel gold are denser than the 

chemical immersion gold , so the corrosion 

resistance/wear resistance is stronger.
